Meredith McAllister

Thank you for visiting my site. I am Meredith McAllister, a daughter, sister, mom, wife, "Gigi" and most importantly, a beneficiary of Christ's saving grace. Over the years, I've also been called a TAR HEEL, a cause-crusader, and a serial entrepreneur. The latter is how I ended up needing a homebase on the web. ​

Professionally, I started my career in investments then mortgage lending. When a disabling health event prevented me from working for several years, I became a master at crisis budgeting and a community resource clearinghouse to manage the business of homemaking.

During this time, i stumbled through the process of starting a home-based business. This venture grew beyond the walls of my home quickly, but not without several costly missteps. When I sold that business and returned to the workforce, my first position was with a non-profit credit counseling firm. Aided by my education and career in business, armed with practical lessons learned from financial hardship and emerging entrepreneurship, I found a natural fit in the non-profit financial services sector. I am blessed to earn a living helping people meet their needs and fulfill their potential. In 2010, I was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel and have been actively licensed as a Chaplain since 2021.
